CITC – Skewen

All it takes is just a few minutes!

Thought for this Week:

When we wake in the morning sometimes our last thought is to take a few minutes out in order to say a prayer and read the bible. But what a heavy yoke is shattered when we wake and bring our hearts, minds and souls and all their ‘needs’ and bring to God so that He might fill our ‘cup’ for the day ahead. No one is more pleasurable to be around than a person who has had the beginning of the day filled by Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only one who is never overwhelmed by the depth of our need. Imagine how different if you made time to have your ‘cup’ filled by Jesus first thing in the morning? During the course of the day, anything else anyone is able to offer could just be the overflow of an already full ‘cup’!

Verse for this Week:

‘The joy of the Lord is your strength.’ Nehemiah 8:10
