Thought for this Week:
Our lives are full of struggles and challenges and we should always be monitoring our attitude towards these things, this week I want to introduce the three R’s – Revelation; Revolution; Reformation
When we see something in our lives we need to address, or we hear the prompting of God we need to change in our lives, it is called – Revelation – we should stop and consider the issue, (For example, we are always complaining or moan about something) and realize this aspect of our character needs to be put right or addressed in our lives. After the moment of revelation we need to do something about it. So we change our attitude or approach to this particular issue – this is Revolution – this can be painful and sometimes we need others to help us at this stage (for example, we decide to not complain or moan). Then after the Revolution moment we need to be consistent and continually work at our new attitude – this is Reformation. When we stop complaining (for example, every time we feel like we want to complain we make a decision not to) we allow ourselves to realign our lives in line with His.
So this week try practicing the 3 R’s.
Verse for this Week:
‘May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight. O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
