CITC – Skewen

Thought for this Week:

This week our Engage Life group discussion is all about forgiveness and how Jesus dealt with it and how he wants us to deal with it.

In a week where a bomber blew himself along with 22 children, young people and adults up in Manchester it’s a poignant subject on which to dwell. In the families who have been affected by this tragedy many emotions will surface. I’m sure that forgiveness will be the last on many peoples list as they come to terms with how to deal with this terrible loss and move forward.

We all grapple with forgiveness to different degrees, we can all agree with Jesus approach, until something serious happens to us. What if we go to a concert? What questions are our children asking?

It’s good to have conversations and so I want to encourage you to get along to life group on Wednesday and join in the discussion.
