Pentecost

Thought for this Week:

On Sunday 4th June we celebrate Pentecost. It’s a Sunday when I do everything I can to be in church with my church family. Unless it’s life threatening of course I will be there this Sunday to celebrate with you. Why? Because there is something about making the effort to be together and God responds to it. #togetherstronger

We will be remembering a time when the Holy Spirit came and impacted 120 disciples in an upper room. I believe the Holy Spirit came in response to their obedience to Jesus request that they ‘wait, tarry in Jerusalem together until the Holy Spirit comes upon them’.

I want to encourage us all, to make all the effort we can to be in church this Sunday, prepare yourself for being together, expecting, waiting and believing that our togetherness can unlock the power of heaven to rock our world so that the Holy Spirit might do something new and lasting in our lives. Are You up for it?
